The day of the father is a good opportunity for parents and children remember the importance of family and the relationships between them. A perfect film for parents whose children are now adults and already have their lives made far from the nest. Robert De Niro is a widower who, after being unable to hold a meeting with his children at home, decides himself to undertake a long journey to visit them in their respective cities. This will be a point of reflection and recovery of relationships, distanced by focusing each on his life away from the family.
5. ‘ LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL ‘

This classic film, winner of 3 Oscars, shows one of the greatest heroes in the history of cinema : a father dragged into a Nazi concentration camp with his family, and who will do everything possible to convince his young son that all that situation is nothing more than a game in which they can win a great prize, in addition to protecting their life at the cost of everything.

Because not everything has to be dramas on Father’s Day, this comedy is one of the best remembered by Adam Sandler. This embodies a thirty-year-old who has never assumed responsibilities, but who ends up taking care of a 5-year-old boy and developing his fatherhood. Laughter is guaranteed .

The director of this film himself was inspired by his father to write it. After the death of his father, the protagonist (McGregor) reflects on the relationship they had and what he learned from him. And the fact is that the father left him a unique legacy: shortly after being a widower, he had made known his status as a homosexual and decided to live what was left of his life enjoying it without secrets. A story of acceptance, love, learning and hope , which the protagonist uses to face a new relationship with a girl.

Surely our father has already seen this movie hundreds of times. With an exceptional cast and five Oscars, this story is a movie classic. After being abandoned by his wife and tasked with adjusting to caring for his son on his own while trying to maintain his high job status, Ted Kramer will have to fight to maintain custody of the child when the ex-wife claims it. Once again with legal problems, this film inspired the protagonist of I Am Sam to defend his ability to take care of his little girl.

This movie, one of the best rated by Pixar studios, is perfect to watch with your youngest children on Father’s Day. It tells how a widowed fish crossed the entire Pacific to find his son Nemo , who was unfortunately caught by a fisherman. The little fish was at a difficult age and was fed up with his father’s protection, but after this experience he realizes how important their relationship is.
10. ‘ MRS. DOUBTFIRE, DAD FOR LIFE ‘

Finally, a new comic installment, which was a milestone for the children of its time, and will delight the whole family.
